Hamlin, PA - Dirt Is King In The Poconos With Exciting Nine Feature Card At Hamlin Speedway

Vast amounts of rain fell during the week and inundated the grounds at the Hamlin Speedway and once again had Promoter Randy Smith working overtime and then some to ready the speedway for an exciting night of Saturday night racing entertainment. Smith and crew went to work and once again had the speedway ready for action when the race cars began arriving in the afternoon. With that, the eighth week of the 2013 racing season at the Hamlin Speedway proved to be another spectacle of speed on Saturday evening in the Pocono Mountains with another great field of racers signing in and a great crowd of spectators filling up the seats of the facility to witness all of the top stars at Hamlin duke it out on the superbly conditioned 1/5 mile clay cushioned raceway and proving beyond a shadow of a doubt dirt racing remains king in the Pocono Mountains. Hamlin, PA - New Stars Emerge To Share Winners Wreath In Phenomenal Racing Action At Hamlin Speedway

Hamlin Speedway Promoter Randy Smith faced the obstacles once again as the Pocono Mountains took a large hit from the two day storm that rolled up from the South. While it appeared to be an insurmountable task, Smith and crew went about the preparation work to whip the speedway back into competition phase and as the teams began to roll onto the speedway grounds the track was "fit as a fiddle". That being said, the Smith Family orchestrated another phenomenal evening of racing action that found some of the top stars at the speedway strutting their stuff while some new faces also found out it feels very good to be sitting at the top of the heap. A total of 150 entries signed in to do battle at the Smith Family's Pocono Playground and the racing action has remained at the top caliber of excitement and entertainment all season long.

Hamlin, PA - The Heat Is On As Hamlin Speedway Welcomes New Faces To The Winners Circle
By: Steve Pados, GA Motorsports Media The first warm blasts of summer finally hit the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania in the past week and along with the warm weather came a great group of loyal fans who live for racing and what the excitement of a Saturday night at the Hamlin Speedway can bring to them. Hamlin Speedway was alive and kicking as 132 talented racers displayed their talent and moxie in putting on a great show and with a great crowd on hand, the Smith Family and staff rolled through an eight feature program and the excellent racing was signed, sealed and delivered by 10:10 PM.

Hamlin, PA - Hamlin Speedway Serves Up Icy Hot Racing Excitement With Superb Eight Feature Racing Card

The fifth week of the 2013 racing season at the Hamlin Speedway appeared to be in jeopardy with heavy rains pelting the Pocono Mountains for much of Thursday and Friday and putting a complete stoppage to all the prep work required to work the speedway into shape for racing activity. Undaunted, Promoter Randy Smith and crew went to work before first light broke on Saturday morning and put in some toiling and tireless efforts to give the loyal racers and fans an opportunity to usher in an icy cold Memorial Day Weekend at the action attraction in the Poconos.

Hamlin, PA - Hamlin Speedway Rocks The Poconos With Spectacular Evening Of Racing Action
By: Steve Pados, GA Motorsports Media After suffering a rainout one week ago and Mother Nature threatening to do it again, the Smith Family threw caution to the wind and produced a spectacular racing card at the Hamlin Speedway in an evening that saw a new track record in the 600 Sprints and nine tremendous feature events that saw many of the features settled in the final moments of the racing action. The immediate area to the south of the Hamlin Speedway was totally awash and many of the area race tracks were forced to throw in the sponge but the Smith Family and staff forged on and Promoter Randy Smith had a meticulous race track laid down for the 148 entries that would do battle during the evening.

Hamlin Speedway's Nine Feature Race Card Produces Magic In The Mountains The 2013 racing season may only be in its infancy stages but the premier action attraction in the Pocono Mountains, the Hamlin Speedway, is already at full stride as 137 talented and eager driving stars from a six state area converged at the 1/5 mile clay cushioned facility last night to produce an excellent driving exhibition that had the standing room only crowd heading for home by 10:15 in the evening. |

Hamlin Speedway Driving Stars Unite For 2013 Racing Kickoff Meeting After a successful and record breaking 2012 racing season, the premier racing attraction in the Pocono Mountains, the Hamlin Speedway hosted a very successful drivers and owners kickoff meeting on Sunday, February 17th, as a standing room only crowd in excess of three hundred people filed in to the S&S Speedway headquarters for the initial meeting to lay out the plans and changes for what is anticipated to be another banner season for the Denise and Randy Smith promoted 1/5 mile clay oval racing facility. The 2013 racing season will serve as the eighth consecutive season for the successful promotional team in command of the popular multi-division speedway and all the buzz indicates another roof-rocking season is expected as the racing format of the speedway was laid out and many questions were answered during the more than two hour informative session. |
